5. James Thomas² Mitchum (John Sessions³, Ambrose⁴) was born in Lane, Williamsburg, South Carolina 28 Jun 1886. James died ca 1919.

He married Ann Harriet Gunderson 1913. Ann was born in Kristiania, Oslo, Norway 26 Jul 1894.⁽³⁾ Ann was the daughter of Gustav Adolph Gunderson and Petrine Marie Schulerud. Ann died 2 Feb 1990 at 95 years of age.⁽⁴⁾

James Thomas Mitchum and Ann Harriet Gunderson had the following children:

6 i. Annette¹ Mitchum was born in Connecticut Jul 1914.

+ 1 ii. Robert Mitchum was born 6 Aug 1917.

7 iii. John Newman Mitchum was born in Connecticut 6 Sep 1919.⁽⁵⁾ John died 28 Nov 2001 at 82 years of age.
