31. John⁴ Wilson was born in Paisley, Renfrewshire, Scotland 9 Feb 1812.⁽⁶⁸⁾ John died 9 Mar 1883 in Clyde, Whiteside, Illinois, at 71 years of age.⁽⁶⁹⁾

He married Jane Blue in Whiteside County, Illinois, 28 Nov 1841.⁽⁷⁰⁾ Jane was born in Nova Scotia Apr 1821.⁽⁷¹⁾ Jane was the daughter of Daniel Blue and Catharine Mcfarlain. Jane died 3 Jun 1894 in Morrison, Whiteside, Illinois, at 73 years of age.⁽⁷²⁾

John Wilson and Jane Blue had the following children:

32 i. Sarah³ Wilson was born in Clyde, Whiteside, Illinois 29 Mar 1841.⁽⁷³⁾ She married Ephraim Bechtel in Clyde, Whiteside, Illinois, 22 Feb 1861.⁽⁷⁴⁾ Ephraim was born in Columbiana County, Ohio 23 Mar 1833.

+ 15 ii. Thomas Wilson was born 28 Apr 1844.

33 iii. John Wilson was born in Clyde, Whiteside, Illinois Jul 1846.⁽⁷⁵⁾ John died after 1900. He married Isabel Leggett about 1872. Isabel was born in Ohio Oct 1850.⁽⁷⁶⁾

34 iv. Alexander Wilson was born in Clyde, Whiteside, Illinois Feb 1848.⁽⁷⁷⁾ Alexander died after 1900. He married Deborah Fletcher. Deborah died before 1900.⁽⁷⁸⁾

35 v. Margaret Wilson was born in Clyde, Whiteside, Illinois 28 Apr 1857.⁽⁷⁹⁾ Margaret died 11 Mar 1944 in Clyde, Whiteside, Illinois, at 86 years of age.⁽⁸⁰⁾ She married David B. Gsell 25 Feb 1879.⁽⁸¹⁾ David was born in Letterkenny, Franklin, Pennsylvania Dec 1850.

36 vi. Catherine Wilson was born in Clyde, Whiteside, Illinois 9 Mar 1861.⁽⁸²⁾ She married William Gsell 7 Oct 1879.⁽⁸³⁾ William was born in Letterkenny, Franklin, Pennsylvania about 1854.

37 vii. Lizzie Wilson was born about 1863.⁽⁸⁴⁾
