Monticello, Albemarle, Virginia 19 Jan 1805. Madison died 28 Nov 1877 in Ross County, Ohio, at 72 years of age.
He married Mary McCoy in Virginia, 21 Nov 1831. Mary was born in Virginia ca 1810.(39)
Madison was freed upon the death of his master 1826. He was manumitted by Jefferson's will.
