Sarah
Ferguson (better known as "Fergie") became The Duchess of
York when she married Prince Andrew in Westminster Abbey
on July 23, 1986. Before she married, Fergie led a fairly
normal life. After graduating from Queen's Secretarial College,
she worked first at a London public relations firm and then
at an art gallery and publishing house. Since her divorce
from Andrew, to whom she remains very close, she's
done everything from write successful books (children's,
self-help, her own autobiography) to act as a spokeswoman
for Weight Watchers.
