He married Abigail Berry 6 Nov 1806.⁽⁶³⁾ Abigail was born in Willington, Tolland, Connecticut 23 Dec 1784.⁽⁶⁴⁾ Abigail died 20 Aug 1851 in Eden, Erie, New York, at 66 years of age.⁽⁶⁵⁾

Joel Stebbins and Abigail Berry had the following children:

31 i. Harriet M.⁴ Stebbins was born in Lebanon, Madison, New York 30 Sep 1807.⁽⁶⁶⁾ She married Roswell Hill 20 Jan 1831.⁽⁶⁷⁾

32 ii. Emily T. Stebbins was born in Lebanon, Madison, New York 1 Jan 1811.⁽⁶⁸⁾ Emily died 16 Mar 1875 at 64 years of age.⁽⁶⁹⁾ She married David Colby Jr. 28 Oct 1835.⁽⁷⁰⁾

33 iv. John Wayne Stebbins was born in Lebanon, Madison, New York 16 Jan 1820.⁽⁷¹⁾ John died 11 Sep 1892 in Sardinia, Erie, New York, at 72 years of age.⁽⁷²⁾ He married Amy Olds 4 Feb 1849.⁽⁷³⁾ Amy was born in Pompey, Onondaga, New York 23 Jan 1819.

34 v. Joseph Warren Stebbins was born in Lebanon, Madison, New York 16 Jan 1820.⁽⁷⁴⁾ Joseph died 15 Jan 1853 at 32 years of age.⁽⁷⁵⁾ He married Jane Haskell.⁽⁷⁶⁾
