15. Robert⁴ Barnhill (John⁵, Robert⁶) was born in Warwick, Bucks, Pennsylvania 31 Jan 1754. Robert died 12 Aug 1814 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, at 60 years of age.

He married Elizabeth Potts in prob. Sussex Co., New Jersey, 22 Sep 1778. Elizabeth was born in prob. Moreland, Pennsylvania 27 Jan 1758. Elizabeth was the daughter of Thomas Potts and Elizabeth Lukens. Elizabeth died 20 Aug 1807 in Germantown, Pennsylvania, at 49 years of age.

Robert Barnhill and Elizabeth Potts had the following children:

16 i. Sarah³ Barnhill was born 27 Oct 1781. Sarah died 23 Jan 1842 at 60 years of age. She married George Alexander Henry 16 Mar 1801.

17 ii. Elizabeth Potts Barnhill was born 22 Nov 1784. Elizabeth died 16 Nov 1810 at 25 years of age. She married Silas E. Weir 4 Jun 1802.

18 iii. Robert Craig Barnhill was born 1 Feb 1787. Robert died 31 Oct 1792 at 5 years of age.

19 iv. Thomas Potts Barnhill was born 29 Jul 1789. Thomas died 16 Oct 1789 at less than one year of age.

20 v. John Redman Barnhill was born 5 May 1793. John died 19 Jul 1816 at 23 years of age.

21 vi. Robert Craig Barnhill was born 13 Jun 1796.

+ 10 vii. Margaret Barnhill was born 13 Dec 1799.
