14. John⁴ Hanks (John³, William², Thomas¹) was born in Richmond Co., Virginia 4 May 1728. John died aft 1810 in Woodford County, Kentucky.

He married Susannah.

John Hanks and Susannah had the following children:

18 i. George⁵ Hanks was born in Richmond Co., Virginia bef 1760. George died 1824 in Woodford County, Kentucky, at 64 years of age. He married Elizabeth Dale. Elizabeth was born in Richland County, Virginia 6 Jan 1758. Elizabeth was the daughter of Thomas Dale and Alse Dodson.

+ 19 ii. Abner Hanks was born 1763.

20 iii. John Hanks was born in Richmond Co., Virginia 20 Oct 1765. He married Susan.

21 iv. Elijah Hanks was born in Richmond Co., Virginia 19 Oct 1766. Elijah died 1821 in New Orleans, Louisiana, at 54 years of age. According to Baber, he had taken a flatboat load to New Orleans and was robbed and killed there. He married Winnie Dale.

Winnie was born in Richmond Co., Virginia 17 Sep 1752. Winnie was the daughter of Thomas Dale and Alse Dodson.
