Most important fact: Why you tbelieve that Aden and/or Lucinda were Creek?Just wondering, maybe that would provide a trail.
as to their families:There are some confederate soldier papers that allude to Aden Screws as being E.A. Screws. In some other confederate papers Aden testifies for a woman, Hulda Victory, in matters concering the death of her son, Newton Screws who died in Sept of 1863.
So looking back to 1860, there is a Hulda Victory living next door to the 'A. Screws' (wife 'L. Screws') family, as well as the Jacob Screws family.
in 1850, Hulda has sons Jasper and Newton, right ages to be the Jasper and Newton Screws you see later. So it makes you wonder why Jasper and Newton became 'Screws' and how Aden knew them and why he testified for Hulda.I'm wondering if she wasn't Hulda Screws...food for thought and maybe something more for you to look at.
