It would be helpful to other researchers if you could clarify and/or substantiate the following statements.
***Are you aware of Cherokee phrophecy?*** For the benefit of other researchers, perhaps you could explain what this is and post valid DOCUMENTATION and/or SOURCES for your information.
***There are many Cherokee groups and sites. Authentic sites.*** There are hundreds of groups/sites calling themselves Cherokee this, that or the other. As stated previously, there are ONLY THREE legitimate, legal Federally Recognized groups of Cherokee. (In the whole, wide world.) However, for the benefit of others, perhaps you would like to name a few you consider "authentic", and post links to their sites.
***Have you forgotten that most of the Cherokee who were forced on the Trail of Tears, did not choose to go.?***
Well, there does appear to be a contradiction in your statement, as usually when someone is "forced" to do something, it means they do not have the option to "choose".
However, the Trail of Tears was one of the most important and pivotal events, in the long and VERY WELL DOCUMENTED history of the Cherokee Nation and its Citizens. Before. During. And afterwards. But, as neither you, nor your ancestors had any, even remote, connection with the Cherokee Nation or its People, it's understandable that you are not cognizant with the DOCUMENTED FACTS surrounding this event. If, however, you do have any additional FACTUAL or DOCUMENTED information relating to this period in Cherokee History, please do post it, for the benefit of other researchers.
***Are you saying that only the kidnapped Cherokee are the only "real" Cherokee? Get Real.***
I have to admit, I'm rather mystified by your comment. Refresh my memory. When/where, exactly, did when I say anything regarding "kidnapped Cherokee" ? Was it on this forum ? Or another board ? Post the board or forum, the date of the message and the message number that shows I mentioned "kidnapped Cherokee".
There are countless other issues in your messages that warrant attention, but I think this will suffice for now.
