Thank you KR.I know the Muscogee Creek never lived in Maryland as a tribe, etc., however William Augustus Bowles (1763–1805, also known as Estajoca, his Muscogee name) is said to have taken several Creek Warriors with him from Florida back up to Maryland in the 1780's.Bowles was born in Maryland and married a Creek lady. The Kendall Lewis I am researching was a Creek, and on the 1850 and 1860 census listed himself as being born in Maryland and his age (69 and then 79) on both indicate a 1781 birth.
I am still researching this whole scenario, so any help or suggestions are very much appreciated.
Teddy
