Thank you for posting.Actually the first paragraph is my research. Daniel Beasley was approved as a DAR patriot after my initial post based on my supplemental application. Someone shared the transcript of a pension application of an NC resident who served with an SC militia regiment which I used as part of my support.
I think that there are some errors in the later data.Based on Daniel Beasley's birthdate as extrapolated from census records(1756-1764), he could not be the son of John Richard Beasley b. 1757.I have not personally been involved in the Beasley DNA project but careful researchers who have been believe that he was the son of William Beasley of Cheraw's District SC.There is some non-DNA evidence to support this conclusion.
There is documentation that his first wife was Barbara (a deed) and his second wife was Sarah (his will).I have seen no documentation of either Green or Robeson as their last names.Based on a deed from Elisha and Penelope Parker to their "granddaughter Sarah Beasley daughter of Daniel Beasley" I am inclined to believe that the first wife was Barbara Parker. The second wife may be Sarah Robeson but I have never seen any documentary evidence of that. I hope that someone who knows whether that has documented will post what the documentation or reasoning is.
Are you a descendant? If so, which child do you descend from?
