Christening. in ww2.
Hello ,I was wondering if anyone knows how , i could find out if i was born and Christend in Germany. My Mother was sent 1940 untill 1945. to Germany in the war. When she was alive, she told methat she fell pregnant with me in Germany. In 1942 she went back to Poland to givebirth to me .Shewould not tell me Who my Father was.And when i was 6 weeks old she went back to Germany, to work for the Germans on a farm, and left me with my Granparents in POLAND.I cannot find any documents any where in Poland to say i was baptizesd there. On our last visit to Poland. An old neighbour i had never met before told me he knew my Mother very well. And he rememberd that she was sent to Germany as forced labour.and came back with me. left me with my Grand.parents. My wife and daughter are still trying to find out information. But I SAW this site and thought i would give it a go .Thank you for reading my MESSAGE BEST WISHES Stan.
