"Sleeping Powder Kills 3 in Milan"..It states overdoses of sleeping powder killed Ellen and her 2 children, Ann & Donald. Her father, H. Dewey Hodgdon discovered them late Saturday night in his home, unconscious. They were living there while her husband Pvt John P Clement served in the Army. She died shortly after her father found them and the kids a few hours later, early Sunday morning.
