They should allow Family members to manage any of the memorials that are closely related by blood or marriage to a blood relative.
Instead Find - A - Grave.com allows large autoloaders of grave memorials WHO have NO relationship to the tens of thousands of memorials uploaded.Often these memorials are inaccurate and incomplete. In addition, they will not correct the edits that you send them.Find-A-Grave rewards their Top 50 Autoloading Mass Memorial contributors with a "Top 50" page on their website. These mass uploaders/autoloaders have been calledlaymen's terminology on other places on the internet.
Another problem with Find-A-Grave is they won't transfer a deceased family member Find - A - Grave contributor's memorials back to another family member Find - A - Grave Contributor for managing.Instead Find-A-Grave hoards these memorials of the deceased Find - A - Grave contributor and will not transfer them to a relative.Who is the best person to manage family members memorials...a family member or Find - A - Grave?I know of one instance where there has been one contributor who has been dead for 4 years and requests were made to have the deceased contributors memorials transferred to another family contributor and Find A Grave refused with LAME excuses. They always bring up their flawed policies.
Find A Grave, it is time to change your flawed policies! The are just plain wrong!
It is time for Find A Grave to do the RIGHT THING and cease threatening contributors who comment on your flawed policies that make absolutely NO COMMON SENSE!
Some of your Customer Support staff could use a refresher course on being kind and stop quoting flawed policies to family contributors.
Why doesn't Find A Grave offer a physical address to write to, a phone number for customer support or complaints? Is this good customer relations on their part?
Find A Grave is a great resource for looking up graves and cemeteries but it needs to improve by changing their policies to a more Broad "Family First" policy.
