Inf on October 4, 1862(after this soldier's discharge). He enlisted January 1, 1862 at Savanah for 1 year of service. On May 1862 muster roll he is listed as sick in Southern Hospital. Same for June 1862 roll.
His disability discharge states; Private Reubin Hulimg of Captain B.A. Fitzgerald's Company "F" 5th Kentucky Infantry Regiment. It states he was born in Knox County Tennessee, is 36 years old, is 5 ft 7 in tall, dark complexion, Black eyes, black hair. By occupation a farmer. He was discharged by order of regimental surgeon at Camp near Vicksburg on July 12, 1862 for Typhoid Pneumonia in his left lung.
