Alexander Fleischman (2/22/1921—3/22/2007) was a typographer, actively involved in Deaf Community affairs. He was also a journalist/author. He founded the AAAD (USA Deaf Sports Federation) Hall of Fame, and chaired its committee for many years. He lived and worked in New York; he spent his last years were in Margate, Florida, active in Florida Association of the Deaf. He died at the Jewish Home of Greater Harrisburg (Pennsylvania). What I've found online is quite scanty. I've contacted his two (apparently) surviving siblings, but haven't gotten any response. Also contacted the FAD . . . no response either. I'm seeking detailed biographical information on him, and photos.
