Francis Perew Gibson (8/6/1870—11/1929) was popularly known as known as “Gib." He was the first full-time salaried officer of the National Fraternal Society of the Deaf ("the Frat"). He's mentioned in Jack R. Gannon's "Deaf Heritage," and the old "Silent Worker" (digital archives are posted online). What I'd like are biographical details and photos. The Frat closed at the beginning of January 2007; I believe that some documents in its collection have gone to the Gallaudet Archives. They have a single photo of Gib.
Posters on the "Find a Grave" surname forum have been quite helpful, but I'd like to go beyond the obituaries posted in magazine archives online.
