I have a very old tree (2007) on genealogy.com which contains data on living individuals. I need to remove this tree ASAP as I have had complaints from people mentioned in the tree.I have spent nearly 2 hours already trying to do so, and trying to contact genealogy.com regarding my problems but to no avail.
I do not currently have any active subscriptions according to the 'my account' page.
Trying to recover my password worked, but trying to log in with the provided details did not.
I tried to login in at Support http://gen.custhelp.com/app/utils/login_form/redirect/askhttp://gen.custhelp.com/app/utils/login_form/redirect/ask (username only as there was nowhere to enter a password) but got an error message to say the username/password was incorrect or the account was disabled.
Requiring somebody to LOG IN in order to CONTACT US is ridiculous when you can't log in to their support system even though you are logged in to the family tree.
I'm at a loss what to try next... any suggestions?
