I use a Kodak z650 digital camera that takes pictures in .jpeg format. I have to change the format to .bmp, .pcx or .gif for easy tree 4.2 to recognize them. However, when I go to view the pictures I get a "not enough ram" error message from easy tree and it will not let me view the picture. I have put pictures taken with a HP, Sony and Canon camera that take pictures in the jpeg extension into easy tree (after changing the picture to one of the recognized formats) and do not get this error message and I am able to view the picture in easy tree. The Kodak is a 6.1 megapixel camera, the HP camera is 5.0 megapixel, the Sony is 10.0 megapixel,I'm not sure about the megapixel rating on the Canon. If I print one of the pictures taken with the Kodak and then scan it into the computer, I can put it in Easy tree (after changing the format to one of the required formats) and view it. Has only one else had this type of problem? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
