The following problem existed with Generations v8 and persists with v188.8.131.52 running in a Windows XP Professional environment. My database contains 1600 individuals, with some 120 having associated images.
All images are 215 pixels square; have a horizontal and vertical resolution of either 299 or 72 dpi and a bit depth of 24 (i.e. 24bit colour).
After an Internet Family Tree has been generated, the images in sub-directory "pixx" have identical characteristics to their originals (as associated in the Generations programme) EXCEPT that any that were 72dpi are now 230 pixels square! The extra 15 pixels appear as black strips down the right side and along the bottom?
I changed the original images having a resolution of 72dpi to 299dpi, but they continue to be resized to 230 pixels square.
Has anyone experienced and overcome this apparent problem? Any help/suggestion would be appreciated. Thank you.
