I see that the prior post was not answered. I've made several attempts to renew my Genealogy Library, all without success. When I call, I get an answering machine telling me to e-mail. When I e-mail before I got a canned response: "As a Genealogy Library subscriber, you're already familiar with the convenience and unique benefits of the Genealogy Library collection.
Your access to Genealogy Library recently stopped because of a problem processing your automatic renewal. This may be because: - your credit card has expired--NO - you received a free trial subscription which has expired-NO - you originally purchased by check or money order-NO
Don't miss a single day of access to the world's premier collection of family histories and records.
* For an annual subscription to Genealogy Library: http://www.genealogy.com/cgi-bin/store.cgi?product=000089695001http://www.genealogy.com/cgi-bin/store.cgi?product=000089695001 When I went there to subscribe, I got a "forbidden" message. When I e-mailed back, I was told that the site had a problem, and when I asked if they could notify me when it was solved, they said, no--that it involved all subscribers. The thing is, I need to access some of the databases, or I'll have to do my research all over again on Ancestry, and it doesn't have the info I need to look at--I belong to it too and just checked.
