I too am interested in ship John & Sara!!
One story about John is as follows:John Edminsteire of Scotland (1633-1714) who arrived in Boston in 1652, an indentured servant, shipped by the British to the colony for sale after having been captured at the Battle of Dunbar in 1650 along with 10,000 other Scots. He was one of 200 who, by special act of Parliament, were shipped abroad because of their unruliness!
Found out the ship name that John came to America on.Ship's name was John & Sara.November 8 or 11, 1661 The John & Sara departed Gravesend, England, with Scotch prisoners for New England and Barbatos (1652).I have a copy of the ships list and keep[ it in the Family Group papers for John Edminster
