Do you buy into the J Frank Dalton story? I never could see any truth in it. It kinda floats like the Bloody Bill Anderson story down in Brownwood, Texas. No real evidence that either were whom they are made out to be. J Frank Dalton could not have been Jesse Woodson James and the Bill Anderson in Brownwood, Texas seems to be a figment of imagination. Instead of trying to prove these imposters as the real thing why don't everyone just write a book about "I Think He Could Have Been" and leave it at that. How does anyone take this research seriously when everyone seems to be promoting the imposters and trying to make them fit into history. Guess it makes for great library reading. Only think I can figure out about this circus.
