Hello Gay, This is Bob James here. Since we are into POSTCARDS to/from Roscoe James, we will share a few more. OK?
Postcard A185; "GREETINGS FROM COLORFUL COLORADO." This looks much like my brother-in law, Jim Nellessen, who helped formed the PJEN Indian Dancers of Colorado Springs. He would dress as an Indian Chief and perform for the J. C, Chuckwagon dinners at the weekly night time at the Garden of the Gods during the summer. Sometime my sister, Delia would also perform with him and the other PJEN'S (not sure if I have this club spelled correctly).
This postcard is also from Jesse James III to Roscoe James, 1904 N. Santa Fe, Pueblo, Colo.;Forward to 3204 Elgin Drive, Salt Lake City, Utah, Post dated Norton,Kans, Jun 11, 1954 and then again at Pueblo. Colo Jun 12, 1954. Stamp is a two cent stamp.
Dear Roscoe; We are on our way to Madelia, Minnesota, for a Radio performance. This Indian is our friend & our neighbor at Manitou Sprgs. See you in 10 days. Jesse James III.
Maybe will post some more cards. Typed by Bob, Proof=read by Glynda.
