You could have a linking problem in your database. I would recommend doing the following:
1- Make a current backup of your database. 2- Click on File | Check/Repair... and choose the Check/Repair button. Click on Save to save the error report. If there are problems found, repeat this step. If the same problems keep coming up, check/repair cannot fix them, and you will need to create a GEDCOM next. 3- Export your file as a GEDCOM, then re-import it into a new, empty database.
