PAF is a flexible tool that we can use in a variety of different ways. Personally, I haven't used custom events, so I don't have personal experience at printing them on reports. However we all have access to the Product Support Knowledgebase on familysearch.orgThis article seems to relate to your question:
Display the Individual or Marriage screen that you want to add the event or attribute to.
Click Options, and then click New Event/Attribute.
Search the list for the event or attribute. If it is in the list, highlight it, and click Select. If it is not in the list, click New, and create the event or attribute.
Enter the necessary information to create the field, including selecting one of the "use" items, and click OK.
Tip: You can add the same event or attribute as many times as needed.
Tips: If you use the same custom events and attributes on every screen, you can create a template. Templates are customized Individual and Marriage screens. When you create a template, you can specify which events, including custom events and attributes, appear on the screen by default.
To make custom events or attributes print on a family group record, put a check mark in the box beside Include "other" events in the Other Option field of the Family Group printing screen.
