I am guessing that the "Find Individual" list (Ctrl+F) still lists everyone, but the "Individual" view does not.
There are three possible solutions for this problem.
Solution 1 If the column headings are blank:
Click the Individual tab. Right-click in the space where the headings should appear. From the menu that appears, click RIN. Repeat steps 2 and 3 to select Full Name, Sex, Birth Date, and Birthplace.
Solution 2 If only one column heading shows (usually RIN):
At the bottom of the screen, move the horizontal scroll bar until the other headings appear (if no other headings appear, use the steps above). Resize the headings.
Solution 3 Corruption in the database could be preventing information from appearing. To check and repair your data in Personal Ancestral File 4 or 5:
Make a backup of your file. On the menu bar, click File, and click Check/Repair. On the new window, click the Check/Repair button. Click Save. If you have run Check/Repair in the past, a screen will appear telling you that the "checkfix.rpt" already exists and asking if you want to replace it. Click Yes. Click OK.
If the system makes any repairs to the file, a report will appear, telling you what they were. Sometimes data files can develop problems that have nothing to do with the information you enter. Such problems are usually caused by:
Turning off your computer before exiting the program (or accidentally hitting the off switch). Power failures or surges while you are using the program. If you run the Check/Repair feature and find problems, follow these strategies:
Restore a previous backup copy that does not have the problem. Use the Repair option. Be aware that some data may be lost, such as relationships, links to notes or sources, and so on. Export the records to a GEDCOM file, and then import the GEDCOM file to a new, empty file. This corrects most errors, but it will not restore the relationships and links to damaged notes or sources.
If all else fails, try uninstalling the program from the computer and downloading a new copy from www.FamilySearch.org.
