You can email the PAF file but: 1. It will not include the photos, just links to absent photos. 2. The person you are sending it to will probably need PAF to open it. (AncestralQuest, Rootsmagic, and Legacy can also open a PAF file, but most genealogy software cannot.) 3. If you send a gedcom file, the recipient will be able to import it into a database of whatever genealogy software they normally use.
If you are emailing a report (not a PAF data file) that contains photos, check its size against the maximum size you can email and the maximum size they can receive.
