To produce Word output: In PAF, click on the Printer icon, then in the Charts and Reports window, if you put a checkmark beside Print To File, when you click on Print, it will print the output to a Word/RTF file. It will ask you for a name and location. When you open the RTF file in Word, you can save it in the Word format of your choice. (Older formats such as Word97-2000 are readable by more computers.)
To produce PDF output: On the other hand, to use one of the free PDF writers such as CutePDF, PrimoPDF or PDF Creator, you need to download and install it. In Windows select it for now as your Default Windows printer. Then in PAF's Charts and Reports window, remove any checkmark beside Print to File, and click the Print button. PAF will now produce PDF files of all printed output.
To produce paper output: Once you change your Default Windows printer back to your regular printer, you will be able to produce paper copies again.
