After spending more time with the software, and adding several newly-scanned photos, I noticed a very interesting pattern:default photos and multimedia scrapbooks were being properly created in the web pages for deceased individuals, but not for the living ones.
At this point I realized that my greatest fears had come true:the problem was not with the software, but with my lack of understanding of the functions of one of the software's switches.
It turns out that selecting "Hide details for the living" will hide almost ALL of the details for the living, including photos and scrapbooks as well as birthdates, etc.
I really appreicate the feature of the software that allows the screening of sensitive information for the living.I did not realize that by selecting "Hide details for the living" would hide all of the photographic information.
In my case I have the "show names" box checked, so that living people are listed in the web page, although detailed information on them is not.Perhaps it would also be useful to have a "show photo" check box as well, so that a photo could be displayed while other sensitive information is filtered during web page creation.
Thank you, George, for all of your help.PAF is truly an outstanding product and I'm sorry to have wasted your time on this problem. As I feared, it was something simple to fix after all -- my lack of familiarity with the software.
