Mayflower books in dispute/error of each other...
I think that is right wording I want to use...Anyway, I have TWO Different entries from 2 Different books both books sold by the Mayflower Society so I'm throwing out this question in general NOT to start a big thing about the Mayflower books being right or wrong or whatever.
But...has anyone else noticed this happening?
My dispute is that in the MFIP (pink book) for Robert Bartlett on page 92 it says that Elkanah MORTON b. 1702 was a son of Ephraim Morton and Hannah Morton.
Then on pg. 150 of the Francis Cooke book (the big hardbound thing), it says that Elkanah was a son of Ephraim Morton and Hannah FAUNCE saying she was a daug. of Josheph Faunce. Can anyone shed some light on this?
