I use FTM 7.5 & love it, it's a dream to use & the support is great...BUT when I try to print out trees for my family who don't have computers...Oh Dear! Outline trees are OK, but difficult for non-family historians to understand. The all-in-one trees & book-form trees go all over the place, splitting family groups in strange places.
Last week I was sent a copy of a tree created using Generations...Wow! Their trees are much more visual, navigable and vitally can present siblings, aunts, uncles & cousins in a logical way.
Any comments from other users would be welcome. Should I take the plunge & swap from FTM to Generations? Or will FTM do the job? Hilary
