Frank Herbert Ryder - Massachusetts

By Philip Ryder December 07, 2003 at 05:01:22

I am looking for additonal information on my grandfather, Frank Herbert Ryder (b May 27, 1865 in Chelsea, MA -d June 11, 1950 in House Neck, Quincy, MA.) He is burried in the Spring Brook Cemetery, Mansfield, MA. In his obituary, I noted the following facts:
(1)He was a past commander of John A. Boyd USWV camp of Quincy, MA (2) He was a veteran of the Spanish American war, having enlisted in the hospital corps of the Seventh U.S. Infantry on August 9, 1989, and 3)He lived in Quincy nearly all of his married life.

I would like to secure his pension file. Also, I would like more information about the John A. boyd USWC.

Any additional information or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
