I will talk to the marketing folks and see if they can tell me why you may not see UFT in your local store. I do know that stores choose what products they stock (which is true for all retail stores) and we can't always get our entire product line into the store.

That is due to the technical support policies of FTW and UFT. UFT has relied on direct email as the primary way of providing electronic support to its customers. That was true when we acquired Palladium, and we have maintained that policy.
Family Tree Maker, on the other had, has never promoted email as a way to contact technical support. Instead, we created an electronic mailing list and message boards where technical support personnel are frequent participants. It's natural, then, that I post more on the FTW message boards.
