Your problems are unclear but that is probably because you are frustrated and don't understand what happened.
What version of UFTree do you now have running on your computer?
What file did UFTree support want you to download and install?
Did you backup your project(s) and library files and all before you installed the update? Do you still have that backup?
Updating a program doesn't usually corrupt it. What is the exact message that tells you the file is corrupted?
Can you open the program and project?
If not, try to explain to us exactly what you do to open the program and/or project and what happens when you do that?
But is is kinda important for us to know what version you are using because the fixes kinda depend on where you are starting from.
