How strange. I put my Uftree 3.0 CD in the CD drive, and explored what was visibly on that CD. You are right. I could not find a SampleKennedy.* file either. It has to be there but hidden perhaps in the install section?
I do have two different installations of UFT in different directories. I have a reason for that but I don't recommend it for everyone.
In both of those installations, I find a subdirectory with the Kennedy.fpt file One is Roots4SampleKennedy.fpt the other is UFTSampleKennedy.fpt
Did you install your first UFTree onto a Roots4 or Roots 5 program? or on another program? Or is UFT the very first program in the series that you have installed?
If you have Win 95 or Win 98, right click My Computer. Left click Find. (files and folders)
Enter SampleKennedy*.* Wait until the magnifying glass stops moving. If there is a Kennedy.fpt anywhere on your C: drive, it will show up. Unless you have more than one hard drive or partition. If and when you find the file, write down the full path to that file.
