Paul, IMHO I think you totally miss the pointor simply don't want to answer honestly. As I said in another recent message on this board, UFT is the ONLY program I use where it is necessary to run two versions because of bugs in the latest version. Most of the criticism relates to the KNOWN bugs, not "nice to have new features". Other packages issue prompt updates for bugs, but UFT 3.0 is now 6 months old and stil we wait.
I believe the company response of "because it doesn't affect data integrity it is not important" is arrogant, and treating customers, who after all are the only reason you exist, with contempt. A genealogy program is used to store AND report data. Both are just as important as each other. The citation/RTF problem is a prime example of something that should have been fixed promptly.
I will now climb down off my high horse because I know even if you do care about customers, "the company" doesn't appear given the way it treats its customer base.
