I recently bought a new computer and installed the latest cd-rom version of Ultimate Family Tree (3.0) and then loaded back my data. I then tried to use the on-line link and have been having problems getting connected to the UFT web site. I called customer service, and they said they would get back to me within an hour. That was five days ago!!!
I think this is rather disturbing as it raises some real concerns about the future of UFT. I have been a user since 1980 dating back to Roots. I would hate to think that I am going to have to convert to something else in the future.
