I can see there is much confusion regarding IE5 and UFT, so I'd like to make a few blanket statements to clear things up:
1. UFT 3.0 can use any browser and does not use the "browser setup wizard" from previous versions. It does not use "members only" plugins to the browser. It merely looks in the Windows Registry to determine which browser is the default for your computer, and launches it.
2. Any issues inside of UFT, including the Gender questions you started getting, are completely unrelated to the online aspects of UFT.There is either a misunderstanding on your part, or a bug on ours, but it has nothing at all to do with Online code.
3. People who are using UFT 2.x and wish to go on-line MUST download the ADMIN.ZIP package to use IE5.Those who do not use IE5, and those who have UFT 3.0 do not need to worry about this.
