Am hoping to find someone on here that is adept in using MS Word - especially the feature listed in subject line. I am not up to par on this feature but do use it a lot for simple things that I understand when editing a FAMILY JOURNAL REPORT exported to Word from UFT 3.0. Melissa and I have exchanged many emails regarding this problem and she has admitted it is a UFT problem and in July 1999 she said she would turn it in to the programmers. As you all are aware, no fixes have been forthcoming. There are 2 problems that I need to correct after exporting to Word in .rtf: (1) I number only continued children. When it reaches the number "100" in continued children, the first numbered child of a marriage is set to the left one space from all the other numbered children.I need to find a simple way in "Find & Replace" to position the number where it should be. (2)If any numbered child says basically "John DOE was born 10 Jun 1837", no period is placed after the end of the sentence. Has anyone encountered these same two problems? If so, how may I do an automatic correction of them rather than having to scroll down 400+ pages and manually fix each and every instance of these occurrences?
