I hope you kept a copy of the original of the PD.ini file so you can put it back the way it was.
I found the instructions you used for changing that file in Help but I don't think it is necessary to change the PD.ini file to use WP9 as your UFTree Print to File Word Processor.
Help file -- "Four configuration switches are available to help solve problems which may occur within the program."
What problems were you having?
"NoLogo - This setting is used to control the display of bitmaps (pictures, screens, etc.) within Ultimate Family Tree."
That does not sound like it has anything to do with WP.
"FontStyle - This setting controls the tiling and placement of bitmaps within Ultimate Family Tree."
That doesn't sound like a problem caused by WP.
"WPWin7 - This setting is used if UFT does not determine automatically that you have WordPerfect version 7 when generating RTF reports."
Heavens to Betsy. I use WPWIN7 and have never had this problem. Besides, you are using WP9.
"WPNoLine - This setting is used if you are experiencing problems with the line drawing characters with WordPerfect."
Was this your problem using WP9? Not with my WP7.
I use WP7 and never changed the PD.ini file.
I cannot find those instructions in the UFTree 3.0 manual on the CD. That manual mentions PD.ini on only one page, 332, and that refers to GP faults, and I think GP faults have nothing to do with your word processor?
Were you getting GP faults?
I suspect you may have gotten a tech person who did not really know what he/she was doing.
There are several diehard WP users easily using WP as the UFTree Print to File Word Processor.
Richard Cleaveland is an expert on using WP with UFTree.
