Paul B. Could we go over this one more time?Where does Palladium fit into the organization?
I received the following this weekend from Ancestry.com: >INVENTORY CLEARANCE - SAVE 68% OFF LEADING GENEALOGY/SCRAPBOOK SOFTWARE BUNDLE >If you’ve been waiting to purchase Family Tree or Scrapbooking software, wait no >longer! The Ancestry.com Online Store is clearing out remaining stock of >ULTIMATE FAMILY TREE PLATINUM and ULTIMATE SCRAPBOOK CREATOR DELUXE in one >super-savings bundle. Both of these titles are category leaders and are fully >supported by the Palladium Interactive team. >They're even backed by an unheard-of 100% MONEY BACK GUARANTEE so you >can’t possibly lose! PLUS there are over $100 of additional savings in the box.
I can understand Ancestry wanting to clear out its stock of, hopefully, just old copies of UFT 2.8 or something. However, it looks like Ancestry still thinks that "the Palladium Interactive team" supports UFT. Is there still a "Palladium" lurking in some company after all these company changes? Is it part of Genealogy.com?
By the way, for those who don't have an earlier version of UFT (pre 3.0) and want to get around one of the bugs that was introduced to UFT 3.0, this looks like a fairly good deal to get the fix and some additional programs and data, even if it is a year or two old.
