The company known as Palladium Interactive no longer exists. That occurred in December of 1998 when The Learning Company acquired Palladium and Palladium's products were added to those that TLC's genealogy group was responsible for. It is TLC's genealogy group that was spun off and is no Genealogy.com.
I agree that it appears that Ancestry has excess product that they are trying to sell. It may be that some of that advertising wording was given to them when these products were new and Palladium did exist. They may just be recycling that same text.
