From my experience (if I had it to do all over again), I'd keep them all in one database. I split off my mother's paternal side and her maternal side at one point as both lines were so big and getting difficult to follow. I now wish I had kept them together. TOO difficult to try to merge now, as there are many of the same people in each database. The only database that I would (and do) keep separate is my father's blood line and his adopted line (which was all I knew about when I started). With UFt, however, I guess I could have even kept those together. But I started with Roots III ... . :)Hey, Happy Easter to everybody!!
