I'm not suggesting you have to do any registry editing. I'm just trying to make it easier. We look in the registry to see where UFT is installed. If you have more than one version installed, the registry can only point to one copy. If that copy if not version 3.0 we will detect that and let you know at which time you should be able to point the installation to the proper location.
My registry edit should tell the installation where the proper version is.
