Austin- No matter how we rephrase it, I think we all know the answer isn't going to change: Minimize the number of fonts if you use UFT and like to have your reports print properly. That was my original point in suggesting thinking twice before downloading Acrobat 4.0 with a dozen or so new fonts.
On one of the sites which is selling Font Managers I found a reference to a 300 font limit with Win 3.1 and a 900 font limit with Win 95/98. This came with a disclaimer that even then there are variables depending on the system.
It may be that another variable is in the use of Laser (Postscript) Printers vs. Dot Matrix (Inkjet and impact) printers.
So I guess the answer is still to move a bunch of fonts into a spare folder, while being careful not to remove the screen display fonts such as MS Sans Serif.
