Attention Paul Burchfield Can you help please. I don't seem to be able to contact any other human being at genealogy.com. I am a registered UFT user and started with Roots3.UFT is my prime program.I ordered my UFT Version 3 online, via the UFT program and received my copy promptly. I also use FTM and have Version 7 which I ordered online via the FTM program and received my copy promptly. I ordered the FTM Version 7.5 upgrade, again online via the FTM program on 30 March 2000 and within 1 minute had my Order Confirmation No, but have not received my copy of the upgrade. My Credit Card was debited on 4 April 2000. I have waited for a reasonable period after the Easter Holidays in case it was held up in the Mail. Please check that it was posted to Victoria, AUSTRALIA and not to Victoria, CANADA as happened to one of my collegues here. Others here who have ordered their copy online about two weeks before me received their copy in about 10 days. Please advise the current status.
Other puzzles. The hieroglyphics on my bank statement include "TLC" which I assume is "The Learning Company". I thought I ordered FTM via genealogy.com Our GUM Group in Melbourne which regularly runs workshops and help for both UFT and FTM has been advised that FTM Version 7.5 will not be shipped to the Pacific Region (includes Australia). Have I been caught up in some policy change? I have tried to E-Mail. The only address I could find on the FTM Home Page was firstname.lastname@example.org. They answered promptly, but said I should contact familytreemaker.com, which I have tried to do. The Order Confirmation tells me to quote the Confirmation No if I have a problem, but it doesn't give an address. The FTM Home Page has phone numbers, but that is too expensive to use from Australia. At various parts of the FTM Home Page there are FAX Numbers. Using 877-849-6751 the FAX did not transmit. Using 319-395-7449 the FAX transmitted, but I have received no reply.
