Ever since the the company I originally started working for, Banner Blue Software, was acquired by larger companies (beginning with Broderbund in 1995 and ending up with Mattel in 1999), the larger companies have handled the sales and fulfillment of our orders.
When we were spun out of Mattel last fall and the new independent company called Genealogy.com was created, we still used Mattel (or The Learning Company division) to handle sales and shipping.
In the past week, we moved our sales and fulfillment out of Mattel to a new call center where we have control over those functions.
Your original order was placed in the Mattel system. I checked and that order system says the order was shipped on April 4.
I'm shipping a new one out of our new system. The upgrade is out of stock but is expected to be available around the end of this week when we will begin shipping them to customers.
