Yes, TMG will import your English, French, and German role text.Once in TMG, you can also add others.

Yes.

TMG's Import Wizard includes an option to fill the Date field with either the structured date or the freeform date from UFT.
If you import the structured date field then TMG's data entry screen will indicate the date in English - but on generating reports, you can choose to have TMG translate them to French (among other languages).
If you import the freeform field then TMG's data entry screen will indicate the dates in French, exactly as you entered them. But in that case TMG will consider them "irregular" dates ... meaning that it just deals with the date as a string of characters and it doesn't really know what the date "means" on a calendar. If you later wanted a report in English then TMG wouldn't know how to translate those dates ... except by asking you for the translation of each one which would naturally be tedious for you. (For the next report it would remember those specific translations, however).
You didn't ask but TMG also imports UFT's Sort Date into its own Sort Date field - so the sequencing of events will be honored, regardless of your decision whether to import the structured or freeform date.
