Has anyone heard from Providence?

Just got back from there and wish I could have spent the full 4 days. I had made some UFT orphanware tote bags which drew a number of comments. Dick Cleveland may have more to say on that when he gets home. They are making their way around the country.
I met a number of nice folks from this forum at the Arlington RUG meeting where we heard from Bob Velke and from Rob Armstrong, in person. Slick talk about business and economic decisions re UFT and how much they were hemoraging on it because of Paladium decisions and software people not meeting goals - a classic case study for some Harvard or Stanford business school study.
Legacy and Millineum were a no show - no booth and no course for which I had registered. They loose credibility and join G.c. TMG on the other hand stepped right up and offered their beginners course for those who wished to take that instead and a good number took them up on it. Most were UFT users so we did a conversion of the Kennedy database with no reported errors. It has some very nice touches.
Seminar speakers had not much good to say about some of the "buy your family tree on a CD" businesses. Pulling few punches.
Anyway I learned a lot and now go to play with some of my new toys.
